Most likely, the location services are turned off on your phone. To fix this, you need to turn on your location services, and you can follow these steps, depending on the type of device you are purchasing from.

If you are attempting to purchase from a desktop or a computer, please check your browser settings to ensure that the purchasing site can verify your location. If your location services are on and your browser settings are correct but you are still experiencing issues, please contact us directly. Each week’s total ticket sales, what we call “This Week’s Pot” is distributed as 20% to the weekly winner, 30% goes to the Jackpot, and the remainder goes to our Nonprofit partners and operating expenses.  You can see what each week’s Weekly Cash Prize was on our winners page here.

If your lotto tickets are ending up in your junk mail, one of the easiest ways to prevent this in the future is “whitelisting” our automated email system that sends out the emails. We have found a straightforward guide for the most common email providers here:

How to Whitelist an Email

If you find your email provider in the guide and follow along using it to whitelist noreply@ascendfs.com, this should prevent our emails containing your lotto tickets from going into the junk mail folder in the future.

Is your email service not linked above? We found these guides with a simple Google search of “how to whitelist an email address in [email service]”.

If you’re having trouble finding your Lotto Alaska email with your lottery numbers, don’t worry—your email server may have sent them to your Junk or Spam folder. Click here for instructions on how to locate those folders in Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail, and Yahoo email. Rest assured that your lottery numbers are safe and sound—you just need to find the right folder to access them. If you still cannot find your email, you can also contact us via Facebook message or call us at 907-45-LOTTO (455-6886) and we’d be happy to help.

Unfortunately, no, you cannot buy lotto tickets online. This lottery drawing and the prizes are exclusively for people physically in Alaska.

The breakdown of the ticket prices we charge is as follows:

  • 20% of each purchase goes into the weekly prize ‘pot’
  • 30% of each purchase will be contributed to the Jackpot.
  • 50% of each ticket purchase will be donated to nonprofit and help to cover Lotto Alaska operation expenses.
No, unfortunately, the winnings of each week’s drawing and the potential Jackpot winnings will only be paid to the current ticket holder.
Each week’s winnings are paid out to ticket holders in the form of a check. This will be issued within three business days’ of winning, meaning that you’ll have your winnings in-hand almost immediately when you play Lotto Alaska!
Each week, the odds of winning the Lotto varies, depending on how many tickets people buy in that particular week. Because ticket purchases do not transfer from week to week, your chances of winning are not affected by the draw or number of tickets you buy whether online or in person in any other time period. For better chances of winning, we recommend you buy a larger number of lotto tickets in Alaska.
